The Buena Vista Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the 5th annual Equine-Only Christmas Parade in Buena Vista, Colorado.

Pre-registration required.

This parade is for horses, ponies, mules and donkeys that are ridden, driven or led. 

The parade is motor-less, and there are no fire engines, sirens, marching bands, or other things known to frighten equines! 

We encourage western, holiday or Victorian costumes, (but no Santa costumes please). 

Nothing can be thrown from any entry that would entice children to run into the street (no candy, favors, etc.)

No entry fee but must be pre-registered. 

Ribbons will be awarded in numerous categories; all pre-registered entries will be entered into the random drawing for additional prizes.

Click on the photo of the Toy Soldier on the menu on the left side of this page ...  There is NO FEE for parade entries, but pre-registration must be received before Dec. 5, 2009 in order to participate in the parade.
