RELEASE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE Under Colorado law an equine professional is not liable for an injury to or death of a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities pursuant to Colorado Revised Statutes Sec 13-21-119.
I hereby release and covenant not to sue the Buena Vista Chamber of Commerce, its directors, agents, employees or any affiliated organizations for any injury or legal liability arising our of participation in the 2009 Equine Parade.
The release includes bodily injury or death to both persons and equines, whether or not caused by their negligence or from any other cause.
I hereby agree to indemnify and hold the above named entity and individuals harmless from all liability arising out of my participation in the said activities.
I specifically understand that equestrian activities and parades are inherently dangerous activites which may result in serious bodily injury and/or death to equines, riders or other participants.
I also authorize the use of my name or photograph or video of me participating in this event for the purpose of publicity or promotional purposes or such other legal and legitimate purposes.
